Who is Jennifer?
Hi there, I'm Jennifer, the proud founder and owner of Neat Nest! Let me share a little bit about my journey and why I'm so passionate about transforming chaos into calm.
I love a good mess. There's something oddly satisfying about taking a cluttered space and turning it into an oasis of order. And I’ll admit it— I used to be a bit messy myself, having the most difficult time parting with just about everything I owned with no rhyme or reason to how I stored all my things. But, like many of us, I reached a point where my love for stuff started to weigh me down. I realized that the more I owned, the more stressed out I felt. So, I embarked on a journey of decluttering and simplifying, starting with my wardrobe. Letting go of the excess and keeping only what I truly loved and needed was liberating.
As I continued to streamline my belongings and embrace a more minimalist lifestyle, I discovered something remarkable: the less I owned, the happier and more at peace I felt. It wasn't just about having a tidy space—it was about creating a sanctuary that nurtured my mind, body, and soul. Later on, I was diagnosed as neurodivergent, and having a tidy space became even more crucial for managing my symptoms.
With a professional background in sales and marketing management, I've always had a knack for problem-solving and finding creative solutions. Whether it's restructuring departments or reimagining business strategies, I thrive on bringing order to chaos. But it's my love for transforming spaces and helping others find the same peace and clarity that truly fuels my passion for organizing.
When I'm not busy tidying up, you can find me indulging in my other loves: caring for my plants, experimenting with my espresso maker, cooking up a storm in the kitchen, capturing moments through photography, or spending quality time with my partner and our adorable dachshund, Trey. Originally from San Francisco, I now call Oakland home, where I continue to spread the joy of organization, one tidy space at a time.
